Digital Product Passport
Digital product passports from Shopify — with the fields of the Battery Regulation, a QR code on the product and a public passport page.
From 18 Feb 2027 every LMT, industrial and EV battery needs a product passport. Direct importers carry that duty themselves — and no shop system has the fields for it.
The app creates passports per model, batch or item, cites the legal source at every mandatory field, freezes published versions with a checksum and attaches QR code and link to the Shopify product.
